A sphenosuchian, one of a suborder of mostly small crocodylomorphs.
Early mammal and late therapsid. (There's some debate about whether or not Morganucodon should be classified as a mammal. Whatever the case, it was clearly adorable.)
Dimetrodon tends to get portrayed as rather sluggish and a little dopey; I like drawing them as active and intelligent, kind of the big cats of the early Permian.
